		Crew's Choice Award Voted on by the crew of the sim in question. With the CO having a vote in the event of a tie.		Details
		Meritorious Newcomer Award This award will be given to the newcomer who makes themselves known and puts in the most effort to make their character a valuable addition.		Details
		Most Improved Player This award will be given to the player who shows the most improvement during the course of the mission. Truly an award to be cherished, as it is a result of a lot of time and hard work.		Details
		Non-Player Character Award For the development of Non-Player Characters. The lives of our characters are in a setting populated by countless other people who are important to our featured individuals. This award marks the achievement of a player for his/her development of engaging, detailed NPCs who add realism and dimension to the sim.		Details
		Friendship Ribbon For the development of a meaningful character relationship. The friendship may be either with an NPC of the player's own design or with another player character or another Player's NPC. The friendship should be an unfolding story over the course of multiple posts and impact the character(s) lives significantly. (*romantic relationships do not qualify for this award)		Details
		Departmental Service Badge: Command Awarded for service in the command department, including departments of Command, Strategic Operations, Flight Operations, and Communications. A player is eligible for the service badge of their department through commitment to their department over a period of time on the sim that the CO feels significant. (Each departmental badge can only be awarded once per character per year.)		Details

		Intelligence Prowess Award This award is given to an Intelligence Officer who has gone out of their way to protect and better the Moore. This could be from uncovering a spy, obtaining pertinent information which protected their own ship, the Federation, or a vulnerable populace. Sample posts are not required, but a detailed description of the situation is required.		Details
		Air Medal For recognition of piloting abilities. For proficiency in the flight operation of various craft piloted during any mission. (Not to be confused with the Flying Cross which will be reserved for acts of bravery in flight)		Details
		Flying Cross Presented to a Flight Control Officer for exhibiting outstanding flying abilities. While not absolutely necessary, people who receive this award typically have to fly their ship manually either in battle situations or emergencies. Sample posts are required. (When making the nomination please cite the post titles that you are using as a sample.)		Details
		George S Patton Jr Memorial Award Named for the famed US Army General who led by example and was brilliant tactician in his own right. It is said that nothing was more exciting than to see General Patton engage the enemy. To honor General Patton this award is given to the crew member who writes battle posts/tags, making their posts enjoyable and exciting to read in the heat of battle. Nominating post must be submitted.		Details
		Library Excellence Ribbon Awarded for the best writing style: clear, precise, and easy to follow - yet allows the story to flow smoothly and easily passed off to another crew member. Also includes spelling and grammar used properly.		Details
		Creativity Award The Creativity Award is presented to those who come up with an outstanding idea during a mission. This can be in battle, a diplomatic meeting, medical crises, or even during a shore leave. There is no exacting criteria for the qualifications of this award. Sample posts are required.		Details
		Scheherezade Award Named after the mythical heroine of the Arabian Nights, the Scheherezade awards intricate story-crafting. This goes beyond simple matters of spelling, grammar, and legibility; rather, it is for the obvious effort put into posts to make them enjoyable to read for all members of a platform and not just as enjoyment for the writers who created them – for telling a tale within a tale as they weave their own story within the greater plot of their sim. This award is an extension of the Library Excellence Ribbon: the Scheherezade is awarded for use of excellent language for artistic purposes and not just for the sake of making language more complex. It focuses more on the intent, but also on the successful writing of supreme quality posts.		Details
		Zefram Cochrane Medal of Exploration For those who excel at writing unique and well-thought out styles and posts during a mission. This could include discovery, first contact, battle scenes, romance, general obstacles, and more.		Details
		Whoopi Goldberg Diversity Ribbon Awarded for the successful portrayal of a non-human character aboard a simulation. In the interest of diversity, this award is granted to individuals who have done an exemplary job writing and developing their non-human characters. Playing ruthless Romulans, killer Klingons, freeloading Ferengi, clever Cardassians, benevolent Bajorans, vigilant Vulcans, aspiring Andorians and any others, while doing so in an excellent fashion, is worthy of recognition. 		DeForest Kelly Humor Award This award is meant to help us all remember that a bit of light-heartedness goes a long way; even in the face of danger. DeForest Kelley was as much a comedian as he was an actor of the 20th century. Therefore, this is as much a tribute to him as it is an award to any recipient.		Details
		Purple Heart Awarded to personnel who are injured in the line of duty. They do not have to be on their deathbed, or even have broken limbs and such. Basically, any crew member with an injury or injuries that a CO feels worth making record of should receive this award. Also applies to POWs: Given to Starfleet officers who are captured by enemy forces for an extended period of time.		Details
		Ribbon of Merit This ribbon is used to symbolize the great sacrifice that the men and women of Starfleet endure. These officers often pay the price for defending the very principles of the United Federation of Planets. A player must recieve a Purple Heart in order to qualify for this ribbon. Those who cannot perform their normal duties aboard their location of service due to ongoing medical conditions and wounds (both which must have originated in service) are eligible for this ribbon. 		Service Accomodation Award Awarded to the crew member who performs his/her character's job and advances above and beyond the job description they were "hired" to follow.		Details
		Outstanding Volunteer Award For the player who makes every effort to find significant ways to lend a hand to the simm's command staff. Performs excellent support work to the best of his/her abilities. Reserved for out of character contributions only, as such efforts differ in scope and often involve a player's personal time commitment beyond the game play. (Not as prestigious as the Ribbon of Commitment)		Details
		Recruitment Award For recognition of recruitment successes. In order to secure a bright and long lasting future for the Moore, there must always be the continual introduction of excited and eager new players. This award is to recognize those who have successfully recruited a new player to the sim who remains on that sim for a minimum period of 6 months. (OOC award, not available to the sim's CO)		Details
		Professional Merit Award Awarded to the character who has developed his/her character with considerable talent, making that character a joy to interact with.		Details
		Service Citation 6 Months Awarded to a member of the crew who has served with the ship for at least 6 months. This award is non-cumulative.		Details
		Service Citation 1 Year Awarded to crewmembers who have served on the ship for one year. This award is non-cumulative.		Details
		Service Citation 2+ Years Awarded to crew who have served on the same vessel for two years and for each subsequent year thereafter. It is becoming increasingly common for players to extend their service beyond two years and, as such, we reward those stalwart contributors		Details
		Ribbon of Commitment Given to a person who has truly put forth an indisputable amount of extra effort. This refers primarily to out of character circumstances. Recruiting, pulling the crew together, posting, helping to fill in the "gaps", and helping maintain their ship's website are just a few of the things that could count toward this award. Truly, this is one award to cherish when received. Sample posts are not required, but a detailed description of the events for which the award is being sought for is.		Details
		Silver Star A player who demonstrates supreme postings, posts often, and plays his/her character “to the hilt” will receive this award. Must have earned the Bronze Star to be eligible for this award. Arguably considered one of the highest honors a crew member can receive.		Details
		Medal of Honor This medal is awarded for the showing of bravery and valor in the heat of combat. Recipients of this medal can serve in any department		Details
